Interactive Atlas of Mortality in England
This tool allows the user to visualise mortality data for local authority areas across England either as a map or as a funnel plot which shows how mortality rates vary and the extent to which the variation in mortality rates between areas is due to chance. It was produced as part of the regional indicators project developed on behalf of the Chief Medical Officer. It accompanies the second Indications report. The tool is available from:
