Method Paper - Constructing a Deaths Database for the Creation of Practice Based

This document, produced for the Advisory Committee on Resource Allocation in February 2001, describes the methodological issues involved in combining existing sources of mortality data to create a mortality database which can be analysed either geographically or for primary care organisations. The paper is based on work originally undertaken for Northumberland Health Authority.
