Implementing the Diabetes National Service Framework: A Diabetes Prevalence Model

This project is part of a programme of work to support the implementation of the National Service framework (NSF) for Diabetes. The primary aim of the project was to use published prevalence data to develop a model that can be used to predict prevalence of both diagnosed and undiagnosed Type 2 diabetes (previously known as non-insulin dependent diabetes) and Type 1 diabetes (previously known as insulin dependent diabetes) at PCT and practice levels.
