An interactive day is anticipated which will take you on a journey of learning and actions. From exploring the policy and research surrounding the need to build the capacities of communities to improve health and reduce health inequalities, to hearing best practice and sharing experiences to move forward policy and practice. National, Regional and Local Commissioners, Deliverers, Policy Makers, Academics and Community Health Champions will work together to produce proposals for a more coherent approach to commissioning, supporting and becoming Community Health Champions. Not only will you hear about the direction of national policy and hear views from the local NHS, local Government and the Third Sector perspective, you will also have the opportunity to actively participate in workshops and visit an exhibition world café lunch which will showcase good practice and enable you to take home new ideas and practical actions.
